What Kai stores

Your conversations with Kai, your name, your location and timezone, and the ritual times you choose. This is needed to deliver the service: to remember what you shared, to show up at the right time, and to meet you where you are.

Your conversations are encrypted at rest. Even if someone accessed the database directly, they would not be able to read what you shared.

Voice messages are transcribed on the fly and the audio is immediately discarded. Kai keeps the text of what you said (encrypted, like all conversations) but never stores your voice recordings. Photos or other media you send are not stored.

What Kai does not do

Kai does not sell your data. Kai does not use your conversations for advertising. Kai does not build profiles to target you. Your inner world is not a product.

How Kai improves

Conversations may be reviewed in anonymized form by AI to improve how Kai works. No human will browse your sessions. If this ever changes, you will be told first.

Deletion

You can ask for all your data to be deleted at any time. Write to mark@trykai.co and it is done.

Kai is not therapy

Kai walks beside you. It is not a medical or mental health service. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or emergency service.
